Music Lessons

Develop your talent! Music lessons are unquestionably the best way to make significant progress in your musical skill and understanding. Study once a week throughout the entire year and watch your ability-and your environment-grow!
 
Music lessons are available on nearly every instrument and in voice, music theory and accompaniment. Contact the FSPA office at 810.238.1350, EXT 3 to register for music lessons. 
 
Music lessons may be started any time during the calendar year, tuition will be prorated based on start date.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR MUSIC LESSON STUDENTS

Concerto Competition
Would you like to be a soloist in concert with the Flint Youth Symphony Orchestra of Flint Youth Wind Ensemble? Advanced music lesson students (grades 9-12) may enter the biannual Concerto Competition; a winner will be selected at the next competition in October, 2018.
 
Master Classes
Play for, or observe, some of the world’s greatest artists up close. Violinist Angela Cheng, guitarist Pepe Romero, french horn Nicole Cash are some of the artists who have recently worked with FSPA students. These rich and fascinating learning experiences are the opportunity of a lifetime.
 
NEW! Advanced Music Certificate Program
Earn an FSPA Certificate and you know you’ve accomplished a lot! The program requires a comprehensive one-year course of study at the FSPA, including music lessons, theory classes and participation in ensembles, recitals and other performances. Download the requirements.
 
Royal Conservatory Music Development Program
