0-7 Years Old

Children get an early start on finding a love of music, movement and creativity with the Flint School of Performing Arts! Our class offerings for this age group start with Music Makers for children as young as newborns. We believe in taking a child-centric approach in our early childhood curriculum, based on the Gordon Music Learning Theory.

Exciting group classes in voice,  various instruments and dance are also offered for this age group, in addition to music lessons. Your children will learn and grow under the instruction of the FSPA’s exceptional faculty.

Numerous studies have shown that exposure to music and dance during a child’s development years helps build important neural pathways in the brain. Participation in the arts from a young age also supports fine motor skills, listening and comprehension capabilities – and most of all, is a lot of FUN!
