Seeing Stars! Tuition Assistance Program

The Flint School of Performing Arts is committed to supporting all students who have a spark for music or dance, regardless of their income, age, or ability. The Seeing Stars! Tuition Assistance Program provides support for students who may not otherwise have the chance to study at the FSPA, due to financial need.  Awards range from 20 – 85% of tuition cost, with the student paying the remainder. Awards are determined by application each semester – see deadlines and application below.

For information on donating to The Seeing Stars! Tuition Assistance Program, call the FIM Development Office at 810-237-3110, or visit our scholarships page.

Apply for The Seeing Stars! Tuition Assistance Program

Good news!  FSPA is initiating some exciting changes to our Tuition Assistance Program:
If you applied by the fall deadline, your award will extend for the full year (through Summer 2018).  The percentage of support will continue for your Winter and Summer activities without having to reapply (you will be required to register and pay your portion before each Term/Semester starts to receive assistance).

If you missed the fall deadline, you will be able to apply for assistance for Term 2 - 5 activities (as available).  If you are interested in Terms 2-5 assistance, please sign up for the interest list by calling the number below and providing your name, email address and ensemble/class/lessons you are interested in.  See our website for selection information: http://thefspa.org/17-18-brochure.  Those on the interest list, will receive application information soon.  Other questions?  Call 810-238-1350 extension 3.
