Goal: To provide dance experiences for children ages 4-8 that are not involved in the FSPA Dance Division class offerings for Fall 2020 due to COVID-19 safety concerns. Engagement and retention are goals for these experiences.
Dance Me a Story

Join us for a virtual, fun, and engaging dance experience designed for 6, 7, and 8 year olds based on a favorite story from classical ballet. This class will implement the Dance Division’s PreBallet and Elementary Ballet I curriculum using simple ballet skills and vocabulary and encouraged self-expression.

Although the classes are designed with certain age groups in mind, all ages are welcome. Dance Me a Story classes will be delivered via Zoom. Zoom meetings will be open 10 minutes prior to the start time listed for meet and greet time and to organize technology.No special equipment needed for class. Dancers need enough space for moving freely and the ability to mute and unmute themselves during the class time.Dancewear can be worn but is not required. Dancers are encouraged to dress comfortably. Bare feet are encouraged for dancers ages 4, 5, and 6.
