Dr. Jessica Cech

(ext. 115); Special Projects Coordinator, Flute ensembles coach, and flute instructor. Jessica is also currently on faculty at UM-Flint and has been on the faculty of Spring Arbor University and the Michigan State University Community Music School. In summer 2009, she was the guest flute professor at the Limonest Conservatoire in France. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Music degree in music performance from the University of Wyoming and a Master of Music degree in music performance from Bowling Green University in Ohio. She recently earned her Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.) degree from Michigan State University. Jessica has performed in the Flint, Lansing, Jackson, Traverse and West Shore Symphonies. A true lover of chamber music, she is the flutist for the Davanti Trio. The trio has performed throughout the Midwest and was a prize winner at the 2008 International Chamber Music Ensemble Competition held in Boston. Jessica also serves on the Executive Board as Secretary for the Southeast Michigan Flute Association and as an adjudicator for the Music Teachers National Association Young Artist Competition for Michigan.
