Mrs. Leshchinskaya teaches all levels of piano students, from the beginner to the professional. Many of her students have won international competitions and perform all over the world. In the United States, her students continue to receive numerous awards at the state and national levels, and perform in a myriad of venues, including Carnegie Hall. Currently, she serves on the piano faculty at the University of Michigan-Flint where she uses her original method, Le Pianiste Debutante (The Young Pianist), which was previously published in Russia and released under four editions (1986, 1989, 1992, 1994). She has also published Daily Exercises for Young Pianists (1994). Mrs. Leshchinskaya's unique and sophisticated approach to teaching the piano is recognized internationally. By invitation, she has presented workshops, lectures and master classes in Russia, Moldova, Ukraine, Poland, Japan, Italy, and the United States. Among her many accolades are an award from from the Moscow Union of Musicians and the “Honored Musician of Russia,” with which she was decorate in 1993.
