THE FLINT SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS LESSONS, CLASSES AND ENSEMBLE REHEARSALS ARE NOW SUSPENDED THROUGH THE END OF SEMESTER 2/TERM 4 (JUNE 6), AND PLAN TO RESUME JUNE 8 FOR TERM 5, SUMMER CAMPS AND SUMMER INTENSIVES.
We realize this presents a tremendous hardship to our students, families and teaching artists who rely on music and dance for life and livelihood. This is a suspension, and if the restriction is lifted at any time, staff will make every effort to resume activity for some portion of the semester/term. Plans for summer camps, lessons, classes and intensives continue as does summer tuition assistance application and registration.
THE FSPA BUSINESS OFFICE, AS WELL AS THE FLINT INSTITUTE OF MUSIC AND FLINT REPERTORY THEATRE BUILDINGS, REMAIN CLOSED THROUGH APRIL 14 IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE GOVERNOR’S STAY AT HOME ORDER.
While our buildings are closed, our staff continue to work remotely and are ready to assist you with any questions regarding the financial implications for you and your student. The best way to contact FSPA is by email. Please send a request to firstname.lastname@example.org and an FSPA staff member will respond. They are happy to schedule a phone call if that is more convenient.
Please note, FIM has postponed or cancelled all events and performances through June 30 including the June Chamber Music Series in MacArthur Recital Hall. For a complete list of cancelled and rescheduled performances please visit our website https://thefim.org/covid-19/
