Seeing Stars! Tuition Assistance Program
The Flint School of Performing Arts is committed to supporting all students who have a spark for music or dance, regardless of their income, age, or ability. The Seeing Stars! Tuition Assistance Program provides support for students who may not otherwise have the chance to study at the FSPA, due to financial need. Awards range from 20 – 85% of tuition cost, with the student paying the remainder. Awards are determined by application. Please see details and Target Dates below.
Apply for The Seeing Stars! Tuition Assistance Program
Seeing Stars! tuition assistance supports FSPA lessons, classes, ensembles, and camps. Applications are accepted at any time. You only need to apply once per school year. Target Dates help ensure time for processing and registering for activities. However applications will be accepted after the Target Dates.
2018-2019 Application Target Dates
Fall: Wednesday, August 15, 2018, 5:00 pm
Winter: Wednesday, January 16, 2019, 5:00 pm
Summer: Wednesday, May 15, 2019, 5:00 pm

Chamber Music Scholarships
The FSPA offers several scholarships based on merit and instrument. Click on each scholarship below to discover the requirements to apply.
Marcia W. Dort String Scholarship
Any exceptionally talented violin, viola, cello or bass player who is a member of the Flint Youth String Orchestra, Flint Youth Philharmonia or Flint Youth Symphony Orchestra and who will not have graduated from high school by May 31, 2020 may apply.
2019-2020 Application Deadlines

ALLAN & BARBARA WALTERS EDUCATION FUND FLUTE SCHOLARSHIP
Any exceptionally talented flute player who is a member of the Flint Youth Philharmonia Orchestra, Flint Youth Wind Ensemble or Flint Youth Symphony Orchestra and takes music lessons with an FSPA instructor and who will not have graduated from high school by May 31, 2020 may apply.
