Are you looking for a way to advance your string playing ability this summer? This camp is for you!
Under the guidance of FSPA string faculty and other specialists from our community, students will have the change to participate in orchestra, technique building sectionals (like vibrato, bowing and shifting) and an alternative styles class (like fiddling, mariachi or jazz improv). Each student will receive an individual lesson during the week. The instruction is intense, but the benefits will be visible as students gain an edge in advancing skills. This is a great local and affordable alternative to overnight music camps.
Placement for ensembles will occur on the first day.
A camp t-shirt and daily healthy snack are included. Students should bring a lunch each day. Family and friends are invited to the showcase on Friday, June 28 at 3:00pm.
